ECS Staffing and Recruitment have an exciting new opportunity that has become available for a Full-time Pastry Chef.
Being passionate about cooking fresh food with an eye for detail, ability to work unsupervised and develop junior team members are some of the key requirements.
Ideally we are looking for a Pastry Chef with previous experience of working in a rosette hotel/restaurant kitchen doing pastry, who has a passion for serving quality food and is eager to develop and progress to the next level.
Key responsibilities:
- assisting Head Chef with menu items;
- management of pastry sections;
- training to junior members of the team in Pastry.
Requirements:
- assisting Head Chef with menu ideas;
- management of pastry sections;
- training to junior members of the team in Pastry;
- be strong in Pastry, an advantage to be multi skilled throughout the kitchen;
- must have at least 4-5 years rosette experience;
- held similar position in a rosette kitchen doing pastry;
- good attention to detail and calm personality.
Benefits:
- up to £33,000 per annum (salary will increase after 3-month probation to £37,000 per annum);
- working 5 days per week (where possible 4 & ½ days, during quieter periods);
- weekly payment, working 1 week in arrears;
